MOHAP License Without Exams
MOHAP License Without Exams , Professionals who have valid and active licenses from other recognized health authorities may qualify for an exemption from the MOHAP exam. Acceptable exemptions include:
Dubai Health Authority (DHA)
Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH)
United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)
Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB)
To apply for an exemption, candidates must submit proof of their active license or exam results during the MOHAP evaluation process. interface.edu.pk
Create an Account: Register on the MOHAP website or through the MOHAP Smart App using the UAE PASS.
Select Evaluation Service: Choose the “Evaluation of Health Professional” service.
Complete Application: Fill in the required information and upload necessary documents, including:
Academic qualifications
Professional experience certificates
Proof of active license or exam exemption
DataFlow verification reports (if applicable)
Pay Fees: Submit the application fee:
Physicians & Dentists: AED 500
Nurses & Midwives: AED 400
Allied Health Professionals: AED 300
Traditional, Complementary, and Alternative Medicine (TCAM): AED 300
Await Evaluation: MOHAP will review your application and determine if you are exempt from the exam.
Receive Evaluation Letter: If exempt, you will be issued an evaluation letter.
DataFlow Verification: All documents must be verified by an accepted third-party agency, such as DataFlow.
Professional Practice Gap: There should not be a gap in professional practice for more than two years. Alternatively, medical training details can be provided as per the Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR) if there is a gap of practice of two years or more. Age Requirement: A certificate of physical and mental health from Emirates Health Services (EHS) is required for doctors aged 60 or above. Ministry of Health and Prevention – UAE
Facility Requirements: A valid medical facility license is needed, and staffing ratios must be met (e.g., one registered nurse for every two doctors). Ministry of Health and Prevention – UAE
